Natalie Horler ist eine deutsche Sängerin, die am 23. September 1981 in Bonn geboren wurde. Bekannt wurde sie als Frontfrau des Dance-Trios Cascada, mit dem sie große internationale Erfolge feierte. Horlers Eltern, die aus England stammten, ließen sich in Bonn-Küdinghoven nieder, wo sie und ihre Schwester aufwuchsen. Ihr Vater, David Horler, ist Jazzmusiker, was Natalie früh mit Musik in Berührung brachte. Sie verbrachte viel Zeit im Tonstudio ihres Vaters und sammelte so erste Erfahrungen. Nach dem Fachabitur beschloss sie, sich ganz der Musik zu widmen. Mit 17 Jahren begann sie, in Tonstudios zu arbeiten und mit verschiedenen DJs zusammenzuarbeiten. Im Jahr 2002 war Horler an der Gründung von Cascada beteiligt und trat zunächst in kleineren Clubs auf. Seitdem wird sie von Frank Ehrlich gemanagt. 2004 sang sie im Hintergrund für Millane Fernandez' Single "What a Good Man", die von Yanou geschrieben wurde, der später festes Mitglied von Cascada wurde. Im selben Jahr nahm sie an der Castingshow Star Search teil, schied aber in der zweiten Runde aus. Horler hatte eine Tanzausbildung in verschiedenen Stilen und nahm seit ihrem 14. Lebensjahr Gesangsunterricht. Als Kind wirkte sie in Laienproduktionen des Theaters der amerikanischen Siedlung in Bonn mit. 2008 trat sie beim Abschiedskonzert ihres Vaters mit der WDR Big Band Köln auf. Der Durchbruch gelang Horler mit Cascada im Jahr 2005 mit den Produzenten DJ Manian und Yanou. "Evacuate the Dancefloor" aus dem Jahr 2009 wurde ihr bisher größter Erfolg. 2010 musste sich Horler einer Stimmbandoperation unterziehen, woraufhin alle Auftritte bis Anfang 2011 abgesagt wurden. 2013 gewann Horler mit Cascada den deutschen Vorentscheid zum Eurovision Song Contest mit dem Lied "Glorious", belegte aber im Finale in Malmö nur den 21. Platz. Neben Cascada verfolgte Horler auch Nebenprojekte, wie Siria mit DJ Manian. Zudem war Horler im August 2011 in der deutschen Playboy-Ausgabe zu sehen und 2012 Jurorin bei "Deutschland sucht den Superstar". Seit Mai 2011 ist Horler mit Moritz Raffelberg verheiratet und hat seit September 2015 eine Tochter.
