Peter Brugger ist ein deutscher Musiker, der am 14. November 1972 in Germering, Deutschland, geboren wurde. Er ist Gründungsmitglied, Sänger und Gitarrist der Indie-Rock-Gruppe "Sportfreunde Stiller", die bis heute zahlreiche Goldene Schallplatten gewann. Einen ihrer größten Erfolge hatte die Band 2006 mit der inoffiziellen Hymne der Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft 2006, dem Titel „’54, ’74, ’90, 2006“. 2008 vertrat Brugger mit seiner Band den Freistaat Bayern beim Bundesvision Song Contest. Er ist Fan des des FC Bayern München und mit dem ehemaligen Fußballer Mehmet Scholl befreundet. Peter Brugger lebt mit seiner Frau und der gemeinsamen Tochter Pauline in der Nähe von München.
